Privacy notice
What we collect, why, and how to have it removed.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. We count visits, but never identify you.
- The only personal information we hold is what you choose to type into the walkthrough form.
- We never ask for your invoices, contracts or documents. Walkthroughs use made-up data.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will.
1. Who this notice is from
AmountGuard (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides financial verification infrastructure and operates the website at amountguard.com. This notice explains how we handle personal information collected through that website.
The website is operated by AmountGuard, Taj Nagri, Agra 282001, Uttar Pradesh, India. For anything in this notice, write to info@amountguard.com.
2. What this notice covers
This notice covers the AmountGuard website only.
AmountGuard is at an early stage. The verification platform described on this site is not yet operating with live customer data. If and when a customer begins a pilot, the handling of that customer's data will be governed by a separate written agreement and, where required, a data processing agreement — not by this notice.
3. Information you give us
The walkthrough request form asks for:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company
- Your role
- Your approximate workforce invoice volume (optional)
- A description of your current verification challenge
- Anything else you choose to add (optional)
You provide this information voluntarily, and you can request a conversation by email instead if you prefer.
Where the form sends it
The form posts to our own website infrastructure, which emails the enquiry to our team. No third-party form service holds your submission — there is no external company storing a database of everyone who has contacted us. The only outside party involved is the mail service that carries the message, named in section 9. We keep no separate copy of submissions beyond the email itself.
4. Information collected automatically
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits, so we know whether anyone is reading the site. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, does not follow you to other websites, and does not build a profile of you. We see totals, never people.
We run no advertising trackers, no session recording, no heat mapping and no profiling of any kind. There is no marketing technology on this site.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs — typically the requesting IP address, the page requested, a timestamp, and the browser's user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. They are generated by our hosting provider rather than by us, and we do not use them to identify or profile individual visitors.
5. Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no cookies.
It stores exactly one item in your browser's session storage, named ag-intro. Its only purpose is to remember that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay every time you move between pages. It contains no identifier, it is not readable by anyone else, it is never transmitted, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.
Fonts loaded from Google
The typefaces used on this site are served by Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches them, your IP address and basic browser information are visible to Google as the provider of that service. We send Google nothing else, and no Google analytics or advertising product is used here. If you would rather this request did not happen at all, we can serve the fonts from our own domain — tell us and we will.
6. What we never collect
Please do not send us invoices, contracts, timesheets, rate cards or any real financial records. Walkthroughs are run entirely on illustrative data. We do not want, ask for, or accept your documents through this website.
We do not collect payment card details, government identifiers, or any of the categories that data protection law treats as sensitive or special. If you send us such information anyway, we will delete it rather than keep it.
7. Why we use your information
We use what you send us for one purpose: to reply to you and, if you want to continue, to prepare and hold a walkthrough conversation. We do not add enquirers to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters or promotional email.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal bases are your consent — given when you tick the box on the form — and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries addressed to us. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence while the conversation is active, and for twenty-four months afterwards, so we can pick up a discussion you may return to. After that it is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will do so promptly and confirm when it is done.
9. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising — including as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not disclose enquiry details to any third party for their own purposes.
The only parties who may handle your information on our behalf are:
- Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which serves this website from its global network, generates the technical logs described in section 4, and provides the cookie-free visit counting described there.
- Our email provider, which carries the correspondence between us once you have written to us or we have replied.
- Resend, which delivers the email generated by our contact form. It transmits that message to us; it is not a form service and holds no submission database on our behalf.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
10. International transfers
AmountGuard serves customers in the United States, and the providers listed above may process information in countries other than your own. Where information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the transfer mechanisms recognised under applicable law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us which mechanism applies to a specific transfer.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Have your information deleted
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent you previously gave
- Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights
Because we hold very little — usually a single enquiry email — most of these requests take us minutes rather than weeks. Write to info@amountguard.com and we will respond within thirty days, and sooner where the law requires it. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, which we will normally do by replying to the address you originally used.
We operate from India, so India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 applies to how we handle your information. Rights under that Act are exercised the same way — by writing to the address above.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
12. Children
This is a business website intended for professional users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
13. Security
The website is a set of static pages. It has no database, no user accounts and no login, which removes most of the ways a website leaks personal information. Correspondence with us is held in ordinary business email systems protected by access controls.
We take reasonable measures to protect what we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. We hold no security certifications at this stage and make no such claim anywhere on this site.
14. Changes to this notice
When this notice changes materially — in particular when the form is connected to a delivery service — we will update the version and date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after a change means the updated notice applies.
